Janet is a freelance musician and teacher with over 40 years experience.  She has performed with various groups throughout the Midwest, DMV, and Internationally.  Janet studied under David Hite at Capital University, Bexley, Ohio, and Steve Genteline at The Ohio State University.  Janet played in the Scarlet and Grey Bands at OSU and taught group clarinet lessons at OSU in the Creative Arts Program.

Her sax experience is in Jazz and Big Bands where she played alto sax.  She teaches beginning flute as well at Music House.

Janet has coached several chamber music groups and is a Professional Member of Chamber Music America. She graduated from The Ohio State University with B.A. and B. S. degrees.
